About the Department The Technology and Operations function is comprised of five teams of specialists with distinct capabilities: business partnership, technology, operations, risk governance and planning support and services. We work closely together to harness the power of technology to support our physical and digital banking services and operations. This includes developing, centralising and standardising technology systems as well as banking operations in Singapore and overseas branches.
Job Responsibilities Responsible for operational excellence and delivery of automated support solutions to further enhance the services of the Production Services organization. The successful candidate will be a dynamic leader, excellent communicator, have demonstrable expertise in process excellence programs and automation, project management and be results-focused. As part of a cross-functional Production Services organization, you should be comfortable leading and motivating dynamic, driven and diverse team of professionals implementing key process and automated solutions. You should be experienced in working with and presenting to senior "C" level management. Good people and line management skills and the ability to recruit and develop a high performing team.
Partner with internal stakeholders to understand the needs and challenges in order to strategies, implement and maintain Operational Excellence initiatives
Work closely with IT and Operations teams to perform end-to-end process review, challenge current thinking, review and design target processes and tools
Design and deliver solutions for reliability, stability and consistency.
Possess a passion to achieve efficiency / predictability through automation and engineering
Run workshops and identify of list of efficiency projects and delivery them incrementally
Be able to multitask and work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment
Conduct meetings to review the list of initiatives with senior stakeholders to get their buy-in
Deliver training on process re-engineering principles, methodology and capability- building
Conduct performance analysis and fine-tuning of systems
Advise on industry best practices, standard tools for monitoring, alerting & configuration
Excel in team-oriented roles that rely on ability to collaborate with others
Manage a small team through matrix reporting
Facilitates and drives strategy / processes to achieve transformational change and put in place sustainable solutions
Builds bench strength and develops teams and prepares them for future roles and challenges
At least 15 years of experience in change management roles
Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science / IT; Ideally certified with ITIL
Deep technical background, with hands-on experience in automated; agile environments delivering operational excellence and automation
Knowledge and expertise in Lean Management, Process design & automation, digitalization and target operating model design
Proven track record in delivering process design, process governance, tools automation and production systems monitoring solutions
Ability to take ownership and deliver results in a challenging client facing environment
Sharp business mind and proven track record in strategizing and delivering complex projects in a senior leader role
Extensive background in working with business partners in areas of production support and software development include Mainframe, AS400 and Open systems environments
Experience working in a highly matrixed organization
Self-directed and self-learner, displays resilience and discipline
Able to work in consensus-driven culture and able to manage ambiguity. Adaptable to changes.
Good planning and organizing skills with structured thinking and innovative solutions
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Strong understanding of business strategies and ability to translate them into concrete achievable action plans
