Dalio Family Office Overview:

The Dalio Family Office (DFO) is the family office of Ray Dalio, the founder of Bridgewater Associates, LP and a global philanthropist. The mission of the DFO is to provide outstanding services to Ray and his family, which includes long term wealth planning and management as well as the management of current endeavors.

The DFO has grown significantly over the past few years, increasing in both size and capability to provide a high level of support to the family. Information Technology Pillar:

The IT Pillar provides the technology that enables the DFO to achieve its mission. This small but growing team looks lo leverage industry leading cloud-based applications and other providers to constantly improve service and enable better business outcomes for the entire organization along with the responsibility of providing excellent day to day problem solving and technology expertise.

Position Summary:

As a member of the Senior IT group, you will have the opportunity to participate in all aspects of the IT life cycle delivery so being a jack-of-all trades is critical. You'll be partnering with the CTO on everything from assisting in managing and shaping the team's evolving direction, to building new services and rolling out new platforms, to all the daily operational activities that support the organization's technology needs.

Day-to-day responsibilities would include a combination of the following:
  • Leverage the CTO across a swath of management responsibilities including providing services, managing stakeholders, intaking information requests and periodic management reporting to ensure the pillar achieves its goals
  • Translate upcoming business needs and requirements into functional specifications for IT execution
  • Manage IT implementation efforts across various stakeholders and areas of the business
  • Own and manage the day-to-day delivery of IT services to support the DFO and related entities leveraging both internal and external service providers

Qualifications:
  • 5+ years relevant experience in IT service management, business analysis and\or project management
  • Detailed knowledge and understanding of Software Development Life Cycle and other IT best practices
  • Experience with cloud based SAAS platforms (SalesForce, Appian, iManage experience a plus)
  • Experience with technologies and languages such as SQL, Java, Web Services, ESB
  • Experience managing small to medium sized IT projects (certified Project Management Professional is a plus)
  • Prior training in ITIL/ITSM/LEAN/Six Sigma or other IT and business process improvement frameworks
  • Education degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or another relevant field desired
