Job Description The Senior Event Producer is responsible for the overall production (layout, design, and features) of impactful in person, virtual and hybrid events with knowledge and experience of the various components required to deliver the best possible outcome of the client engagement process. In support of Global Event Management, you will provide internal business partners with an understanding of technical requirements, recommendations to create impactful events, provide training and day of support. This role will also work closely with AV Support, the Video Team and/or outside Production Companies to identify the event concept and its moving parts to plan and execute the technical components accordingly. Event Production embraces event logistics, strategy, and management.
Principle Responsibilities
- Manage the technical production including schedules, third-party vendors, assets, technical pricing and overall project organization; ensure requirements and project deliverable dates are clearly communicated (at all levels), understood and executed upon.
- Identify and understand what needs to be done before, during and after the event production process and ensure that the overall production of in person, virtual, and hybrid events is aligned with the event goals, budget and timeline.
- Elevate MFS's events to the next level by focusing on messaging, presenters, AV and technology in order to exceed client expectations and find the most effective and innovative ways to complete the production process.
- Drive solutions for new and innovative production methods to support clients' event and marketing needs by connecting strategy, technology and business opportunity.
- Build strong working relationships across MFS including Compliance and Global Distribution Solutions, following policies and procedures for all assigned events and meetings.
- Understand and help measure and achieve ROI goals. Managing and analyzing this data will provide vital feedback for stakeholders and business partners advising them on how they can improve their events in the future.
- This position may lead additional team members as appropriate, based on targeted events and meetings.
- Some travel may be required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required with a minimum of six years of full time production experience supporting corporate meeting and event management; people and project management a plus.
- Previous experience in leading production teams through the execution of live events, shows, virtual productions and experiences.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to effectively represent MFS while planning and overseeing significant corporate events. Highly professional demeanor.
- Prepared for the unexpected, need to be flexible and quickly adapt to changing circumstances.
- Solid working knowledge of corporate meeting technology and systems including best practices and procedures.
- Strong attention to detail, planning and decision-making skills including the ability to effectively negotiate pricing and contracts to ensure costs are managed and deadlines are met.
