Job Scope 

Regulatory Compliance

• Acts as the first point of Compliance contact
• Stay abreast of regulatory guidelines and requirements, ensuring that business and staff are in compliance with the regulations.
• Provides regulatory advice in relation to business and regulatory developments in projects and on working parties as required.
• Preparation and filing of regulatory reporting, eg. MAS reporting
• Provides timely, commercially sound guidance and advice to business functions in response to general day to day regulatory matters arising, where necessary agreeing changes to processes and procedures that will reduce compliance risk and raise operational standards.

Group Risk and Compliance Reporting

• Ensure compliance of Organization's Group Standard
• Manage the Risk Identification & Control Assessment Process and facilitate the Company's attestation
• Consider and evaluate potential sources of additional operational risk (e.g. new distribution and outsourcing arrangements) and ensure that risks are evaluated and operational risks modelled as required.
• Manage the process of reporting and recording breaches in accordance with Group processes or regulation
• Promote a strong risk culture that supports the company's strategic objectives, Values and business security standards.
• Work closely with Risk and Compliance, Risk Committee meetings, and any other risk management meeting as required by the Global Head of Risk & Compliance.
• Work closely with SME (Subject Matters Expert) for Security Compliance and to complete Group IS attestation.
• Monitor and report to the Risk Committee operational risk exposure, compliance issues (in particular relating to regulations and conduct risk), business continuity and business security practice and risks, and other risk and compliance MI as required.

Additional

• Monitor and ensure that the Brokering staff complete/conform with all the regulated training
• Develop and conduct compliance risk assessment / awareness training workshops where necessary
• Working closely with Legal to facilitate contracts preparation and signing
• Preparation of Non-Disclosure Agreements for new business, partners, etc
• Ensure that contracts are in place for all business, tracking contracts that are due to renewal, etc.

Requirements

• Degree holder in any field
• Individual should possess at least 5-8 years' relevant experience in compliance for Insurance industry
• Strong knowledge on regulatory standards and compliance to MAS
