Audit Senior

This Top 15 firm continues to win new business during the pandemic, and is recruiting for an Audit Senior to work partially from home and from their new London office. The role will be to assist Managers and Directors in execution of audit field work and audit file completion..

The role

Planning and delivery of audit assignments

Planning assignments in conjunction with managers

Leading assignments and assisting colleagues on larger or more complex projects

Supervising junior staff during the audit and review their work

Delivering the audit file to the assignment manager in timely manner

Identifying and documenting audit issues and control weaknesses

Regularly communicating assignment progress to the manager

Requirements

Newly qualified (or soon to be) ACA, ACCA or equivalent

Experience of company audits: planning, budget preparation, identifying key risks, developing an audit plan, executing the audit on site. IFRS welcomed but not essential.

Experience preparing audit files using an electronic working paper system

Experience of preparing budgets and monitoring actual time against budget

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Enthusiastic with a positive attitude
