We develop large scale machine learning solutions to drive customer experience, enable product sales and engagement. We want to push the boundary on data and AI and create meaningful solutions that can help and assist our customers and differentiate DBS from the competition. Responsibilities The successful candidate will
Building, testing and deploying machine learning and AI solutions to drive key strategic objective for the Consumer Banking and Wealth management group
Identify and develop solutions for areas of significant impact (P&L, Customer Experience) and work with respective product and customer management leads across markets to curate use cases
Improve data and AL/ML capabilities through predictive/ prescriptive/ text analytics across initiatives - identify synergies and cross leverage solutions for scaling use and impact of ML solutions
Establish and use standards and best practices for testing and production deployment of machine learning and AI solutions
Develop governance and explain-ability frameworks for AI/ML solution review and monitoring
Research, identify and integrate advanced machine learning solutions to enable sustainable business value creation
Drive creation of reusable assets and share learning across the broader team
Masters or equivalent degree in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Operation Research, or equivalent quantitative fields preferred. Strong mathematical and statistics background.
6-8+ years of experience in industry (ideally consumer banking, insurance, ecommerce, telecoms, retail) and/or academia with demonstrated track record of innovative research, insight generation and implementation of insights into tools/processes delivering front end business results
Strong track record in hands-on development of machine learning solutions
Proven capability in identifying, prioritizing and structuring use-cases, by aligning against business priorities and strategic goals
Excellent problem-solving skills and strategic thinker
Experience in deployment and integration of machine learning solutions in a production environment
Hands on experience with Python, R, Spark, Java and Scala
Persuasive communication skills, both written and verbal
