Job Description Provide annuity technical analysis and support by supervising, developing and enhancing a variety of complex actuarial models and reviewing work done by team. Manage, prepare, perform and communicate results of actuarial, financial, and risk analyses to peers and upper management. Lead complex projects and develop innovative solutions considering the impact of the market and other non-actuarial forces. Serve as the subject matter expert on projects. Responsibilities Provide technical analysis and support by supervising, developing and enhancing a variety of complex actuarial models, applying business insight in designing models. Technical expert for area of responsibility. Review technical work done by team. Lead complex projects and develop innovative solutions considering the impact of the market and other non-actuarial forces. Serve as the subject matter expert on actuarial and cross-functional projects. Assist with project planning within area and determine resource needs. Build and execute annuity forecasting/planning models utilizing actuarial modeling software and perform variance analysis for senior leaders. Develop assumptions by working with business leaders in a wide breadth of areas. Modify existing and create new financial analysis to be effective in an evolving regulatory landscape which includes GAAP Targeted Changes and Principles Based Reserving. Manage, prepare, perform and communicate results of actuarial, financial, and risk analysis to peers and upper management. Participate in professional development to maintain actuarial credentials. Provide direct leadership to lower-level actuarial analysts. Usually directly manages 0-2 actuarial analysts and/or provides strong leadership to others in various processes. #LI-Remote Required Qualifications Bachelors degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or related disciplines MAAA, ASA FSA with 6 years of actuarial experience or ASA 8 years of actuarial experience Strong relationship and communication skills in working with colleagues, influencing customers on recommendations and analysis results #LI-Remote Preferred Qualifications FSA Experience with MS Excel, VBA, MS Access, SQL, and other database applications Experience with Risk Agility, FIS Prophet, or other actuarial modeling software packages Strong analytical, quantitative and problem-solving skills #LI-Remote
