Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.
Responsibilities
  • Lead and drive risk related strategic initiatives which cut across internal units, multiple Outsource Service Providers (OSPs) and vendors.
  • Perform risk reviews for new processes arising from new initiatives or process automation
  • Identify, report and escalate emerging operational risk through the execution of operational risk management framework tools, include error and risk event management, report and action plan tracking.
  • Prepare and manage the timely submission of risks reports.
  • Perform deep dive of operational processes, thematic review and landscape review, across multiple OSPs and vendors to identify potential operational risks and ensure mitigating controls are implemented
  • Perform risk reviews for new processes arising from new initiatives or process automation
  • Strengthen risk management through the use of data / tools to enhance controls and risk monitoring
  • Act as Liaison for Compliance, FCSS, Audit, RMG and other control functions on risk related matters relating to Self-Service Banking Operations
  • Launch programs to promote risk and control awareness of operation units.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Business or Banking and Finance is preferred
  • Min. 8 years of experience in Consumer Banking Operations and/or Outsourcing Governance or Operational Risk / Audit / Controls in the above functions
  • Experience in project management is preferred
  • Has good control mindset and able to understand a broad range of operational issues
  • A self-starter and ability to multi-task
  • Attention to details and has good analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and has strong planning and organization skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
