The successful incumbent will be responsible for executing transformation initiatives in relation to underwriting of new and existing customers using data and innovative technology.

• The goal is to be involved in the evolution of underwriting risk and delivery of the best new business service for their customers, partners and distributors.

• Drive the development and approval of a future underwriting strategy

• Realise the full value of data to increase (Value of New Business) VONB and margin and reduce unit cost

• Enable positive customer feedback score for New Business & Underwriting

• Leverage the potential of internal and external data, machine learning, predictive analytics and AI/cognitive to transform the way the company underwrite customers, enabling fully automated digital instant issuance

• Ensure minimum operating standards for underwriting data and how it can be linked to claims, experience and wellness customer data.

• Support the achievement of the Operations New Business strategic vision.
