M&G's UK offices are based in London, Edinburgh and Stirling. The Fund Marketing team are Edinburgh based. All colleagues are currently working remotely and expect to return to the office in 2021, only if it is safe to do so. We are happy to consider remote working for this position and would expect you to be able to travel to the Edinburgh office on occasion when appropriate.
The Role:
As part of the Fund Marketing team, be responsible for the delivery of regular fund reporting over all funds available through Prudential products. This includes outsourced online factsheets (including contractual ownership and management) and in-house produced factsheets and fund reporting. Plus, people management responsibility for two Colleagues.

Experienced Colleague:
- Accountable for providing a quality service or product to customers and stakeholders, using skills/experience built through significant practical experience or training
- Accountable for ensuring the team the role supports is delivering a quality service or product
- Works within established frameworks and procedures, with the freedom to interpret them to solve a range of problems
- Delivers outputs that are clearly defined, using discretion over how to achieve them
- Makes suggestions for improvements to the work of the team, based on previous experience and knowledge of similar situations
Key Responsibilities for this role:
- Manage two Colleagues to deliver the day-to-day fund reporting work - setting their direction and targets plus reviewing and signing off their work
- Propose and deliver fund reporting efficiencies, developments and improvements
- Monitoring of outsourced factsheet production
- Contract management of the external fund data and product suppliers that provide the online factsheets listed on our websites
- Management of Prudential fund data questions/issues and delivering required fixes
- Budget management
- Work with new and existing Projects - analysing impacts and supporting required delivery
- To work collaboratively with colleagues throughout the business and take personal accountability to maintain and enhance controls you are responsible for to support improvement of the overall control environment, customer outcomes and a reduction in M&G's operational risk.
Key Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Experience of developing fund marketing materials in a customer centric manner
- Experience of delivering fund reporting and communications
- Experience of marketing environments in Financial Services
- Experience of both working with, and managing relationships with, external fund data providers
- Experience of marketing tools and techniques
- Relevant professional qualification is desirable
- Working knowledge of industry best practice, good network/links with external bodies and individuals on the same field
- Knowledge of Prudential products, systems and distribution
- Working knowledge of life and pensions products, markets and competitors
- Working knowledge of financial services regulatory and legislatory frameworks
