The Role: Data Services Stakeholder Manager
The Data Management Team deliver investment data services for M&G plc, our customers and the regulators.
Against a backdrop of significant transformation, the Data Management Team are looking to recruit an individual who can manage our internal stakeholders, using their exceptional relationship management skills, knowledge and understanding of investment data management.
The successful candidate will deliver efficient engagement processes, ensure there is understanding of our stakeholder's requirements, and use this information to refine and evolve the services of the team, in line with the strategic direction and operating model.
Key Work Level Accountabilities: Experienced Colleague:
Accountable for providing a quality service or product to customers and stakeholders, using skills/experience built through significant practical experience or training
For team leaders, accountable for ensuring the team the role supports is delivering a quality service or product

Key Responsibilities for this role:
To work collaboratively with colleagues and take personal accountability to maintain and enhance controls you are responsible for to support improvement of the overall control environment, customers outcomes and a reduction in M&G's operational risk.
Structuring and delivering efficient and effective engagement management practices for our stakeholders, which support the Data Management Team.
Key ambassador for the Data Management Team, consolidating the key messages and work being undertaken across the team, delivering presentations, the production and distribution of MI and meeting updates.
Managing stakeholders across varying levels of seniority and multiple business units throughout the organisation.
Support all parties within the Data Management Team, understanding the evolving data services which the team deliver.
Contribute to the design of the Target Operating Model and define the data services, identifying stakeholder and team requirements and position how these data services are currently delivered and can be extended.
Communicate findings from stakeholders into the Data Management Team, proposing solutions, action plans and supporting the implementation of these.
Monitor and measure the effectiveness of the data services, working in partnership with the key representatives in the Data Management Team and the stakeholders.
Key Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
A strong track record of managing stakeholders from across multiple business areas and seniorities.
Knowledge of data management within a Financial Organisation and an understanding of data management best practices.
Experience of building a stakeholder management framework, and processes and practices to operate it.
Strong collaboration experience, with the ability to inspire, support, influence and lead others.
Demonstrates passion, proactivity and enthusiasm and wants to learn and make a real difference.
Drives change, has a history of delivering and has a strong focus on business outcomes.
Excellent written and communication skills, undertaking presentations and chairing meetings.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish long lasting relationships.
Asset Management experience preferable.
