Develop and implement risk-based compliance framework for the company.
Manage all regulatory relationships, handle regulatory enquiries/visits and provide oversight of regulatory developments.
Perform various compliance assessments and reviews and initiate follow up actions to ensure the Company comply with related regulations.
Advise business on compliance issues, e.g. AML/ FATCA/ CRS/ PDPO/ Sanctions/ Sales practices
Oversight regular compliance risk assessments, execute the compliance monitoring plan and the related issues analysis, remediation and reporting to ensure comply FATCA/ CRS/ AML/ Anti-corruption/ Sanctions/ Anti-trust/ Fraud requirements
Participate in insurance products development and review
Performing compliance review to validate and ensure a good business practice within the company
Review and update forms/declarations, training materials to ensure compliance standards are met.
Conduct compliance training workshops.
The ideal candidate for this role is a seasoned professional who would be able to take on a stand-alone role and build the compliance function and department for the firm
University graduate in Law, Accounting, Business or related discipline.
At least 8 years relevant experience in compliance, with experience in insurance industry, highly preferred.
Familiar with regulatory requirements from Insurance Authority and/or TSCP license.
Good business sense and commercial judgement.
Ability to manage multiple stakeholder relationship.
Reporting to the COO, this will initially be a one-man-band role looking after all compliance matters. Your role will evolve and grow with the company, the Compliance department will grow with it.
