We are assisting a Global Asset Manager in their search for a highly motivated and technically gifted Operations and Financial Control Manager.
This individual will have a solid and deep technical skillset across Financial Controlling, Tax matters, Business Analytics, Financial Operations and also strong exposure and experience in Digital Transformation. You will work in close collaboration with the current COO based in their Zurich Office.
Task and Responsibilities:
Finance and Financial Controlling
Financial Control - monitoring and reporting key financial metrics
Business Unit controlling for Asset Management and Wealth Management
Managing and controlling the companies accounting with support of outsourced providers
Review and oversight of the financial statements, regulatory reporting
Preparation and management of financial audit
Oversight of Capital Adequacy ratio
Oversight of entity tax matters
Oversight of quarterly Swiss VAT returns
Recording, reporting and processing of Swiss stamp tax
Preparation of Periodic financial management reporting for Executive Management and the Board
Management accounts (accounts payable / receivable, expense analysis, PnL budget vs forecast vs actual analysis)
Tracking of business unit analytics e.g. RM level AUM, net new Money, revenue
Tracking and management of PAM operational projects
Manage process to implement appropriate digital tools for marketing and operational processes
Ideal Profile Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 7+ years' experience in the area
Financial industry experience across operations and finance
Tax control and reporting, VAT, stamp tax
Project management, Data management and business analytics skills
Business Fluent in German and English
