Role Description

To produce high-quality requests for proposal (RFPs), requests for information (RFIs) and due diligence questionnaires (DDQs), as well as consultant database entries for prospective clients and consultants based on a well-researched understanding of clients' needs, strengths and weaknesses and the overall marketplace for product and services.

This role provides a fantastic opportunity to build relationships and increase product knowledge, with the potential for career progression into various roles. 

The individual would preferably come from an RFP, investment writing, operational or client-related role within an investment management company.

Key Points

• Produce high-quality RFPs, RFIs, DDQs and consultant requests accurately and on a timely basis. Treat each RFP as a project with you as the project manager
• Effective management of established RFP process from inception through to delivery, pre-meets, allocation and follow-through of resources, effective draft management and workflow 
• Use and support the maintenance of content on the RFP content database with all new or improved content
• Responsibility for ensuring accuracy and integrity of information presented on consultant databases, including working with business development teams to ensure appropriate products and content are consistently and accurately represented in line with strategic priorities
• Working with and supporting the Consultant Database Team, including awareness and understanding of AUM data 

Specilist Knowledge

• Good level of investment knowledge across a broad range of investment products
• Familiarity with investment management operations and back-office systems
• Writing skills that enable the individual to represent the capabilities of the brand
• Experience in contributing to the acquisition of winning new business in a range of markets
• Strong communication and organisational skills and the ability to confidently interact with colleagues
• Familiarity with RFP content management systems, preferably PMAPS
