Role summary:
The Legal Sourcing & IP Switzerland is providing legal advice to Sourcing & Vendor Management who are responsible for preparing and negotiating contracts with third party vendors for the procurement of goods and services (IT and non-IT).
We offer:
- a challenging and interesting role where you help the Sourcing & IP Legal team in Zürich advising on, reviewing, drafting and negotiating sourcing/supply and outsourcing contracts with external vendors
- the chance to advise on legal issues in relation to such contracts, such as confidentiality, intellectual property, liability, indemnification, representations, warranties and termination
- you will also be advising on specific Credit Suisse requirements according to internal policies and procedures, such as anti-corruption, background screening of contractors, and outsourcing matters
- identifying and advising on data protection and data security issues as part of the sourcing process
- advising on appropriate use of Credit Suisse template agreements, where applicable
- maintaining and further developing our framework of template agreements
- you will have the chance to collaborate with General Counsel colleagues from other regions, including APAC, EMEA and the US
- assisting as necessary during 'request for proposal' (RFP) processes
- you will respond to ad-hoc queries, and work on Credit Suisse internal projects, as and when required

You Offer
You offer: - a Master's degree in law or JD; licensed to practice in Switzerland
- minimum 2-4 years experience working with commercial contracts in an international corporate legal environment or in a law firm
- excellent written and spoken German and English language skills
- a practical and commercial approach to contracting, with a good sense of risk allocation
- a strong drive to carry projects and matters through to successful completion with internal clients and stakeholders
- bright, enthusiastic and keen to work in a sharing, collegiate, team environment; and with a willingness to learn and foster knowledge-transfer
