The SQL Developer will be supporting the Investment management business directly in London, partnering with the business and developing database and reporting solutions used by the business for day to day analytics, risk management and trade operations.
The current business is looking to hire into a new team, with SQL Database Developer working with the current DBA team to develop SQL and JAVA solutions. The business uses several technologies, tech stack include SQL Server, JAVA, and C#. The SQL Development team is responsible for working with vendors to account for infrastructure development, new integrations and enhancements across Cloud Projects (AWS and MS Azure).
The SQL Developer will provide a robust, flexible and scalable operating platform for the London business where users can leverage on technology to improve analysis and risk management. This is a great opportunity to join a collaborative, innovative team and are focussed on continuous improvements to technology infrastructure. You will report into the Head of Technology and Reporting Analytics and be part of development of new reporting solutions including Tableau and Power BI.
Prerequisite Requirements -
SQL Server / Development experience and knowledge of SQL Databases.
Supported SQL Server and Databases Development initiatives.
Knowledge of Java, C# programming.
Any prior experience in Tableau and Power BI will be advantageous.
A Degree or MSc in Software Development, IT or Scientific subject, with industry SQL qualifications.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, interacting with key business stakeholders to manage the successful delivery of new SQL Database architecture.
