Automation Test Engineer
Large global financial services firm looking for a Automation Test Engineer to develop and drive automation testing for a major private banking digital application product, liaising directly with stakeholders in multiple regions.
You will be sitting under the Investment Banking arm that provide investment and financial solutions, including corporate banking, investment banking, capital markets, trade services, payments and cash management, and leveraged acquisition finance.
Responsibilities:
- Set up automation framework using Selenium and Java
- End-to-end testing from creating test plan, test case, test scripts, and executions
- Responsible for managing and coordinating the end-to-end delivery of key automation test
- Act as singe point of contact in Hong Kong to report testing activities and status
- Guide onshore testing resources and offshore test teams
- Communicate test progress, test results, and other relevant information to international stakeholders and management
- Provide input to business requirements, functional specifications, user stories and release
Desired skills and experience:
- 5+ years of testing experience with 3+ years in automation testing
- Experience testing on digital applications (preferably mobile)
- Technical proficiency in core java, Selenium, Cucumber, Maven, Git, Jenkins, Rest API, Rest Assured, and Agile methodology
- Confident and experienced in managing offshore parties and ensuring timely delivery
- Proven ability to articulate complex issues concisely to support business analysis
- Excellent communication skills in English (Chinese is not necessary)
- Background in financial services industry (banking or insurance), preferably in a matrix functional environment, is highly preferred
- Understanding of financial markets and products is not a must, but will be a plus
