Our work is involved with multiple aspects of the business allowing you to directly contribute to the success of the organization. We seek a highly motivated algo support team member, who works well in a team, but is comfortable working independently and takes ownership of their development work.
As a senior algo support team member, you will work closely with both the IT side of Algorithmic trading, as well as the business side, supporting traders, coverage and clients. As part of the AES team, you will work together to develop new solutions from specifications to final delivery, as well as help support and upgrade existing systems as needed. This will be a great opportunity for an ambitious team member to make a noteworthy impact to the organization and the business with their work.
First point of contact for all algo related questions and issues, as well as performing initial investigation.
Manage, maintain and monitor the algo server farm for any issues.
Deploy binaries and configuration changes across the algo farm on regular basis.
Proactively find ways to improve product and environment stability.
Partner with the business and non IT staff to gather requirements, design features and improve the algo suite.

Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Hard Science or other technical field
Significant work experience in the financial IT or related IT sector
Know your way around Windows servers.
Oracle and Sybase experience.
Exposure to Octopus, TeamCity, Gitlab and artifactory, or similar deployment technology.
Good understanding of Asia's equity markets' microstructure.
Good knowledge of Algo equity trading.
Know your way around UNIX and Linux servers.
