Job description

• Engage in strategic planning and analytics for Asia ex Japan.  Assist in exploring and evaluating strategic opportunities in Asia ex Japan
• Manage Audit and Internal Audit processes for funds and corporate entities. Review statutory accounts for group companies and funds, and to ensure timely delivery of required financial statements
• Manage cash flow forecast, FRR reporting  for regulatory purposes
• Manage satellite offices' financial reporting in Asia
• Manage the monthly delivery of management reporting package, analytics of variances, and annual budgeting review
• Manage MPF  funds and Private Equity funds reporting, quarterly capital account statements, call & distribution notices, periodical and ad hoc investor enquiries
• Oversee day-to-day finance operation of funds and corporate entities such as expense payments process
• Build and improve a Finance team with the development of staff and institutionalized processes in mind
• Chair Risk Committee and coordinate risk analytical review

Job requirements

• An experienced finance professional with proven track record in Accounting and Finance
• Strong knowledge of Asset Management business particularly various distribution channels, fund structure and reporting practices, and Private Equity/Hedge fund operations
• Strong regulatory knowledge and experience including but not limited to liquid capital rules, capital requirements, related party transaction requirements, currency controls
• Strong competence in the technical aspects of finance and accounting including US GAAP/IFRS, accounting practices and procedures, regulatory reporting requirements
