About the Department
The Credit and Risk Management function is comprised of three teams: Risk Management, Credit and Special Asset Management. We manage the risks arising from the Group's business activities within the risk appetite established by the Board. This involves identifying and evaluating the risks, developing effective risk governance and strategies as well as providing independent assessment of the overall risk profile.

Job Responsibilities
  • Responsible to perform ad hoc analysis and on-going portfolio review to support Country Policy & Portfolio Management Team on Product Program, policies and business initiatives review.
  • Responsible for regular MIS preparation and to track product program performance against their benchmarks.
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining bureau strategy for both secured and unsecured products.
  • Responsible for tracking of RDF metrics for secured and unsecured products for booking and performance criteria.
  • Liaise with different operation units / parties to roll out credit policies per approved, and evaluate their effectiveness over time.


Job Requirements
  • At least 3 to 5 years of working experience in a retail banking role preferably in a credit risk policy, MIS and portfolio management capacity
  • Degree holder with background in Business and Finance or Statistics preferred. Other degree holders with working experience in similar roles previously will also be considered.
  • Analytical mind, good communication and presentation skill, meticulous and self-motivated
  • Familiar with portfolio monitoring techniques & tools, SAS programming, Basel Capital Rules and local regulatory landscape with regard to retail lending practices.
  • Knowledge on scorecard and Basel II model prefers.
