Desk Execution (Derivatives Trading), Singapore

We are currently working with an established trading house who is seeking for a Desk Execution to join the team. In this exciting growth phase of the company, they are looking for a Desk Execution with around 3 - 5 years of experience to value add to the team.

Responsibilities:

• Assist traders to execute all orders placed
• Maintain a log and reconcile before end of day
• Execution of fixing orders including AAs
• Uploading of trades in the system
• Resolving any missing deals
• Following up with traders to fix contracts before FND
• Rolling forward origin position in GT after every roll
• Initiate Repo with the Banks
• Update files with buy backs or sales
• Keep the team abreast on stock movements
• Processing Repo documents and maintaining the database
• Process necessary documentation for accumulators
• Ensure proper records are maintained for OTC trades - accumulators
• M2M preparation and reporting to Risk
• Monitor usage of broker margin lines and direct broker allocation of daily trades
• Coordinate with brokers and middle office to optimize margin lines

Qualifications:

• Around 3-5 years of previous experience in operations/execution required
• Experience in commodities product will be a plus
• Open to working for flexible working hours till late night (starting time will be adjusted accordingly)
• Strong understanding of the commodities financial market
• Fluent in English
• Strong Microsoft office skills, especially in Excel
• Candidate should already be based in Singapore
