Redstone Commodity Search are working with global steel trading house looking to hire a steel trading manager to join the commercial team in Singapore

Key Responsibilities / Tasks

• Manage steel sales to customers in the Singaporean market and to explore new value added opportunities within South East Asia
• Develop and achieve annual trading target, and develop sales tactics and strategies to meet annual business plan
• Able to immediately leverage on existing relationships with producers and importers in the area
• Maintain a full and current understanding of customer requirements, competitor activity, market activity, customer and supplier performance
• Reports into Steel Trading General Manager

Key Qualifications / Experience

• Minimum of 6 years within steel trading/ Singaporean Markets
• Good working experience and knowledge of INCO TERMS 2020, contract exposure, UCP 600 and marine freight
• Good communication and negotiation skills
• Independent thinker to support growth aspirations
• Fluent in English
