The Human Resource & Organization Department champions the people agenda for GIC. We are organized by strategic HR domains and work in partnership with business groups to manage talent and build impactful teams. Our HR domains are: Rewards and Engagement, Talent & Organization, GIC School, Talent Acquisition, Graduate Recruitment, HR Business Partnership, and HR Operations & Solutions.
We are looking for a suitable candidate to join the HR Operations & Solutions Team (HRS) as an Associate (1 Year Contract). You will be part of the team responsible for supporting and delivering HR operations in GIC. Strong performers may have the opportunity to be offered a permanent position when available.
Manage on-boarding and off-boarding process, as well as other employee life cycle activities for the businesses you support
Partner and build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders and collaborate with them to develop solutions to issues that arise
Assist in annual HR activities, which may include, but not limited to performance appraisal exercises, salary and bonus reviews
Manage and maintain accurate HR records in employee files and HR system (SuccessFactors) to ensure data integrity
Assist in compilation of statistics and reports
Manage queries related to HR and procedures
Participate in ad-hoc HR projects and other related assignments, including identifying and implementing process improvements
Be a trusted advisor for the organization
Degree in any discipline, with at least 3 years of relevant work experience
A self-driven and hands-on team player, with a positive "can do" attitude
Demonstrated ability to multi-task and respond to tight timelines in a fast paced environment
Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality, integrity and professionalism in all aspects
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with a variety of stakeholders
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Strong follow-through and ownership over tasks and issues
Good analytical and problem solving skills, demonstrates initiative and resourcefulness
Experience with Microsoft suite of applications (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) as well as HR-related systems. Some familiarity with SAP Success Factors is a plus
Prior experience in a HR shared services team or business advisory is a plus
Open to contract position and able to start work at short notice
