In this position you will be the sole support for one Business Development Director and work closely with the other teams who cover Endowments & Foundations/Pension Funds. You will get exposure to all classes including traditional investments, hedge funds and private investments.
Most of your time will be spent creating proposals and presentations for new business pitches and being the point of contact for follow ups. In order to be successful in this position, you will need exceptional written/verbal skills and be very strong with relationship building.
Preparation of proposals and presentations in conjunction with team members and investment directors for prospects and existing clients
Support with creating effective and visually appealing content
Liaise with internal teams including Legal & Compliance, Operations, Manager Research, and Investments to effectively and efficiently create and maintain content
Gather and synthesise research on target markets, prospective clients, competitive intelligence, and industry topics and trends
Maintain prospect list
Support follow-up efforts to ensure prospect and client movement through the business development pipeline
Update and maintain CRM systems and produce reports when required
Build and maintain investment knowledge and show intellectual curiosity
Work on ad hoc projects when requested
Strong knowledge of Microsoft suite, with emphasis on PowerPoint and Excel (essential)
