Attribution Search is currently hiring for a L/S Equity Hedge Fund for a Middle Office Trade Support and Fund Accounting candidate.
The fund was founded by a highly regarded PM who was legacy two of the most reputable Hedge Funds globally. Following said track of the PM this has led from respectable initial seed capital to substantial level of AUM. This initial trajectory has also been followed by a soft close of its most recent product launch underlying the interest from allocators in its strategy.
The above story has relevance for the role in the context of despite the substantial level of AUM, the non-investment team is very lean. This means the role is extremely wide in terms of exposure with little top-heavy staff and therefore littile to no glass ceiling.
The duties will cover but not limited to:
Full front to back trade flow from booking through to settlement
Fund Accounting, valuations reporting, performance and P&L analysis
Cash management, liquidity and collateral
Working on increasing efficiencies of trade work flow and automation
Compliance, regulation reporting and supporting compliance frameworks and policy
Bespoke Investor reporting, investor due diligence and managing CRM
The right candidate for this role will have a strong buy side background in either Trade Support or Fund Accounting or a blend of both. If coming from one particular side, you will still have familiarity with the other, along with strong manual understanding of the mechanics of what really happens behind the screens. Strong Equity product knowledge twinned with solid academics is a prerequisite.
We believe this will suit a candidate who is at a larger institution who is looking to make the move to a smaller house with appetite for scale, or perhaps a candidate who has progressed as far as they can at a similar fund without the further scale and prospect of new allocation and further fund launches.
A strong work ethic and desire to grow at the same pace as the fund will be of equal importance to the background in which the candidate is coming from.
