As a result of the coronavirus pandemic, our client is looking to expand its credit business, already worth trillions of dollars. Our client is a Global Top Tier investment bank with presence in close to 40 countries globally. In Asia alone, it covers over 12 currencies, more than a dozen languages and across 5 time zones, placing them as the region's leading financial services companies.
What is the role?
You will be responsible in daily interaction with various business partners (front office traders, Market Risk Managers, Business Managers, Finance and Trade Control) across the APAC region on product risk valuation support and development requests, and participate in its Global Markets Strategic platform initiative.
How is the remuneration?
This is a permanent role based in Hong Kong, with a budget of between HKD 550,000 – 750,000/annum + discretionary bonus.
What are the basic requirements?
Strong knowledge in Python, and also in a OO programming language (e.g Java/C#/WPF)
Experience in large scale enterprise development would be highly preferred
Good understanding on financial products valuation, including risk sensitivities and PnL calculation. Experience in Fixed Income Credit, Loan and derivatives are preferred.
Good quantitative background preferred
