This position will lead a sizeable team (infrastructure, application and project management) and will directly reports to the CEO.
Oversee the information technology function in the organization to ensure optimal performance, ensuring its reliability, availability, and recoverability provided to the company and ensure they are also cost effective and valued.
Develop strategic plans for technical infrastructure and business system development to take advantage of technological changes. Align the IT strategy to business strategy with a multi-year road map and implementation plan for short, medium and long term.
Actively participate in the development of business strategy to accelerate digital transformation. Design and implement technology solutions to improve customer experience and drive growth in the business. Select and implement suitable technology to streamline all internal operations and help optimize their strategic benefits.
Responsible for IT Governance related to policy, architecture, projects, shared services and system development processes.
Oversee IT security function and the implementation of IT controls to effectively manage risks versus business needs. This includes oversight of Information Security program to deal with growing risks due to increased connectivity with outside entities, increased threat of electronic hacking and increased consumer privacy demands; oversee disaster recovery capabilities.
Direct the IT architecture planning function to ensure that technology integration, reuse, and implementation is efficient for applications, infrastructure and execution. Position for the use of new technologies and IT processes to meet digital business needs. Ensure that technology standards are current to guide technology acquisition and development.
Stay abreast of upcoming system solutions, trends and new technology available in the market. Influence leadership team on technology trends and directions that the company needs to adopt and avoid - including those coming from Enterprise IT strategy/policies.
Participate as a member of senior management and be appointed as Manager-in-charge or Key Person of your function as required by regulators. Serve on committees and task forces as necessary to advance the overall interests of the company.
Analyze the costs, value and risks of information technology to advise management with suggested actions.
Identify the key and critical components of the execution process and engage effectively with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure smooth delivery of the business model.
University graduate in Management Information System, Computer Science or related disciplines
At least 12 -15 years of experience in IT area with at least 10 years in managerial level, preferably in financial, digital, retirement or investment funds industry
Cybersecurity oversight experience
Strong background in application development and to include digital technologies.
Experience in global organization is preferable
Experience in managing outsourced vendor or captive off-shore relationships
Experience in managing project management office is a plus.
Good knowledge in managing data network and telecommunications system as well as knowledge of development tools.
Experience in implementation of internal-developed and external-acquired/leased IT systems
A team player with strong communication skills including spoken & written English and Chinese
