About the Role
A great opportunity exists for a Commodity & Risk Analyst to join our team; based at Enfield.
You will be instrumental in maintaining controls within a dynamic commodity trading/purchasing environment through grain position reporting, forecasting and analytical support of key business drivers.
You will also provide commercial, financial and business analytical support and insight across Weston Animal Nutrition; primarily supporting our procurement, supply chain and commercial teams. Your role will involve maintaining business critical information regarding risk positions, commercial targets and price variance reporting all substantiated with meaningful commentary and insights.
In addition, you will be required to support the development of the business strategy and Strategic Control Framework which forms an integral part of our risk management and decision-making by the Risk Management Committee.
You will also enjoy embedding a business partnering framework with strong relationships to support commercial decision making in the execution of our commodity procurement strategies.
The ideal candidate will have commodity experience, working in a similar role for a minimum of 2 years; degree qualifications and Financial Certification (CIMA, CA, CPA) will be highly regarded but not essential.
You will also have the ability to work autonomously, have exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills and Advanced SAP BW knowledge.
Experience in commodities is essential, as you will be required to effectively negotiate with long term customers for win-win outcomes. Being a Tableau Qualified Associate or Certified Professional will be highly regarded.
