What we're building
We now need a Annuity Proposition Analyst to support the transformation and the future growth of the business within the Insurance function, so it can provide security and peace of mind to our customers by offering protection, home finance and annuities propositions, and deliver great service and propositions that are valued by our customers
The role holder will be responsible for researching the market and providing any insight into market trends and identifying new business opportunities across Bulk and Individual Annuities to ensure profitable growth in targeted market segments within business risk appetite.
This role will support the Annuities Proposition Manager, providing them with the relevant market information, insight and identifying process improvement opportunities.
The person in this role must have an understanding of the Bulk and Individual Annuities market as well as the ability to identify new opportunities and ways of working.
They will work closely with the Scheme Implementation Consultants and Annuities Sales Director and marketing teams to gather market share data What you'll do
Contribute to the management of annuity product and propositions to enable the business to meet its corporate objectives for sales and margins whilst driving good customer outcomes within the business risk appetite.
Support the Annuities Proposition Manager to explore and evaluate new business opportunities, identifying potential market opportunities and build strong business cases for recommended new product or proposition developments.
Ensure the products comply with relevant legislation, meet the needs of the target customer segment and deliver good customer outcomes.
Contribute to the governance of the annuity proposition demonstrating effective risk management through ongoing monitoring of products in regular product management meetings and regular product reviews.
Contribute to product or proposition developments as required in order to meet business objectives and/or comply with changes to legislation.
Assisting the Annuities Proposition Manager with delegated activity to drive proposition improvements across the business that will impact service delivery to the end customer and our chosen distribution channels.
Contribute to legislative consultation responses as agreed with the Annuities Proposition Manager on any issue which might impact the annuity proposition.
Identify improvements in sales and new business process to ensure that targets are met, products meet customer needs best use is made of resources and CL has a good understanding of emerging trends

Financial Planning Certificates 1, 2 & 3, or equivalent Certificate in Financial Planning 1-5 (desirable).
