Based at the Firm's regional headquarters in Hong Kong, Hong Kong Credit Risk Department is currently seeking a high-performing and hands-on credit risk professional, Vice President with solid experience covering Corporates in Asia (including Japan). Reporting to the team head for Asia Corporates, this role will have these key responsibilities: - Perform necessary credit due diligence and analysis on borrowers and trading counterparties to the Firm including: - Analyze the risk profile of derivatives transactions and approve trades/ credit limits up to the level of delegated credit authority - Review corporate loan and leveraged finance transactions including terms and structure, conduct due diligence, run credit stress financial projections to make recommendations on credit approval and present in global commitments committee - Conduct client calls, perform independent research and establish credit rating of counterparties - Prepare loan and annual review memos for active/potential counterparties with credit limits - Review loan / derivative documentation with counterparties to ensure strong credit term protection - Conduct industry research and develop sovereign and macro risk views as need to support decision making - Monitor portfolio quality on an ongoing basis and recommend rating actions / asset classifications etc.
Qualifications/ Requirements: - Bachelor's degree preferably in Business Administration, Finance or Economics. - At least 7 years of credit analysis experience in the financial services industry - Corporate focused; loan / derivative experience essential - Strong credit analysis skills and knowledge about corps in Asia Pacific needed - Solid understanding of macro economics and keen interest in sector research - Familiar with loan and derivative documents (ISDA/CSA/NAFMII/ LMA) - Good team player with strong initiative and appetite to learn in a fast-paced environment - Fluent mandarin skills (spoken and written)
