Assist business and technology teams in resolving cloud issues and incidents
Coordinate with cloud provider support teams and Moody's teams to solve problems/implement solutions
Create help resources for common incidents with known solutions
Assist with managing and overseeing outsourced service providers for daily operations on the public cloud
Define and implement the automation processes for Cloud Operations
Educate teams on proper use and process for using the Moody's cloud offerings
Provide detailed, high-quality communication and documentation
Learn quickly and draw meaningful conclusions from independent research
BS/BA, (Education may be substituted for increased years in experience on a year-for-year basis)
AWS certification is a required.
Experience supporting applications and platforms within public cloud environments
Minimum 6 years of experience in IT industry in relevant area, with at least 2 years of experience supporting workloads in public cloud environments, preferably AWS and Azure
Expert knowledge of AWS and Azure public clouds
Experience in system engineering work in a Linux/AWS environment with development/scripting responsibilities (infrastructure as code)
Code: CloudFormation (YAML, JSON), Python
Ability to understand and analyze client issues and resolve incidents quickly.
Strong skills in improving and evolving support-related processes.
Outstanding customer facing skills in continuously changing environment.
Previous experience and working knowledge of IT infrastructure and systems engineering
Solid grasp of high availability and disaster recovery solutions, replication and automation technologies
