This sales role will focus on key regional clients, strategic accounts, and new product initiatives from both existing customers and new logo acquisition. The incumbent will own client interaction, lead curation, territory sales strategy, and localized interaction with key channel partners. Internally you will work closely with sales, product specialists, marketing, and channel to accelerate growth.
You will be involved in activities such as:
Generation of the lead pipeline for new business and renewal of existing business
Reporting of actual vs. budgeted sales on a regular basis and accurate forecasting
Take responsibility for keeping company products knowledge to a high standard for defined product area and to a referral standard for company other product lines, remaining aware of developments
Actively participate and drive activities such as sales conferences and special events, sales collateral production, client entertainment, association memberships to maximize sales revenue and retention
Contribute to the global sales and marketing strategy
Fulfill any additional / ad hoc duties as required to meet the needs of the business
You will possess:
Proven 5+ years hunter sales and business development experience in the financial services market
Recent experience selling to financial institutions ideally in the Greater China region; Hong Kong, China, and Taiwan
Strong knowledge in eTrading Platform, OTC Derivatives, Fixed income, Valuation & Risk, trade execution, pre-trade and settlement services, or data-led solutions
Knowledge of Salesforce and ability to manage multiple sales in parallel whilst maintaining excellent attention to detail
Ability to present and negotiate with senior-level management and manage the complex sales process
Excellent written and spoken English, Mandarin or Cantonese language (must)
