As a Manager, you will lead a team of seniors, mid-level associates and more junior legal professionals handling the day-to-day administration of a range of client entities within various regulated fund structures. Our client's business is thriving, with great new business wins leading to strong growth.
Your responsibilities will involve:
Working closely with and reporting to the Director
Ensuring that your team delivers on client KPIs / adheres to Service Level Agreements
Client relationship management as the key point of client contact, working to continually monitor and improve service, share knowledge and handle queries
Be responsible for your team's portfolio, ensuring daily fulfilment of the corporate life of the funds; incorporations, liquidations, AGMs, EGMs, reviewing shareholder resolutions, AML/KYC, ensuring all entities are kept in good legal standing
Working with external counsel to assist clients to navigate complex legal issues
Working as a key member of the team, handling recruitment, appraisals, staff coaching etc., to ensure the continued growth of the business.
In order to be considered for this role you will need:
Fluent English, and strong communication skills both within your team, clients, and with management
A positive approach to leadership, with a real desire to grow your team positively
Commitment and enthusiasm, enjoying a multi-cultural environment
Prior solid experience of managing and leading a legal team, (minimum of 2 years management experience) with at least 8 years' experience in fund or corporate services (if corporate services, with sufficient understanding of the funds industry)
Ideally a legal education
The ability to "hit the ground running", supporting a busy team at several experience levels
