Arya Partners is seeking an Operations professional located in London who will primarily support the Portfolio Managers based in London. There are currently six Portfolio Manager teams based in London. The individual will work closely with the Arya Ops team in NY & Asia, AB traders, AB Operational staff, AB technology developers, Prime Brokers, and State Street (Fund Administrator).
The primary responsibilities for the Arya Operations role include the daily oversight of performance returns for each Portfolio Manager, monitor & reconcile Portfolio Manager trades to the Fund Administrator, proactively source locates, address pre-and post-trade compliance, corporate actions oversight, currency hedging implementation and equity swap matching with counterparties. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing the due diligence of Arya Portfolio Manager investments from purchase to settlement. The individual will also address Portfolio Manager queries related to performance, trade implementation, secondary offerings, IPO's, and market access. In addition, the candidate will be responsible for oversight of a UCIT fund including compliance, cash management and rebalance trades.
The qualified candidate will have a bachelor's degree (preferably in a quantitative field such as Finance, Accounting or Economics) and a minimum of 5 years of Multi-Manager Hedge Fund operations experience. The candidate must possess strong communication, quantitative, and analytical skills. Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritize in a deadline driven environment is essential. A successful candidate will bring a positive attitude with a willingness to learn and assume additional responsibilities and challenges.
