CRO IB, CCO IB, Global Market Risk (MR), Non-Financial Risk (NFR) Chief Operational Officer is responsible for the global operation and overall management support of the respective four Risk and Compliance departments across EMEA, SWISS, AMER and APAC. Core COO Mandate includes the department strategy development and execution, risk and compliance governance framework, senior executive presentations to core committees, board or regulators, robust business management (e.g., financials, human capitals, supervision and controls), as well as department transformation and innovation portfolio management.
Within Chief Risk and Compliance Officer (CRCO) organization, CRO IB, CCO IB, Global Market Risk (MR), Non-Financial Risk (NFR) Chief Operational Officer (COO) team seeks a Senior COO based in UK to provide the COO coverage locally for the four departments, who is part of the global COO team and reports to the Global COO. The candidate will:
Act as Senior COO Lead for CRCO based in UK, with a focus of managing regulatory interactions in collaboration with Regulatory Risk Management team (RRM), and supporting senior management such as CRO IB, UK CRO and UK CCO.
Represent CRCO in regional forum such as UK Entities Op Co, UK project delivery board etc.
Collaborate with Governance teams to provide senior executive support to UK Board as well as oversight of UK CRCO governance and escalation process. Provide legal entity management and UK Senior Management Regime support across CRCO.
Liaise with the Strategy and Transformation team within CRO IB, CCO IB, MR and NFR COO group to develop and execute key regional risk strategic and critical initiatives. Drive continued risk process enhancement across risk and compliance.
Coordinate with Control, Financial and Business management team within CRO IB, CCO IB, MR, NFR COO group to support the business operation regionally.
A chance to lead human capital or regional initiatives for UK, such as talent management, risk culture strengthening, and diversity and inclusions.
Coordinate with a broad set of business partners across business and risk organization and Senior Management to create high impact value-addition to the respective UK entities risk management teams.

Extensive experience working and interacting with regulators and have strong knowledge on regulatory rules including Senior Managers Regime.
Proven experience in regulatory or risk management and programme management or COO experience.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Able to present it on a succinct basis for senior management consumption.
Hardworking, dedicated individual with outstanding attention to detail and drive initiatives independently.
Results-oriented with strong interpersonal skills. Ability to coordinate with colleagues and management across the bank.
Significant experience working in a fast paced, deadline driven environment. Be able to prioritize work well.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel & Power Point skills. Excellent analytical, problem solving skills and ability to learn.
