Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.
This role is responsible for leading and deliver technology solution for the Consumer Banking business regionally and specifically on the Branch and Self Service Banking Platform. The candidate will be responsible for driving technology solution that is used to guide DBS's transformation towards a Digital and Intelligent Bank.
Drive and collaborate with stakeholders to formulate and execute the Branch and SSB Platform strategy, architecture roadmap and delivery of initiatives and projects
Partner with business to identify opportunities for technology leverage in business development
Work closely with Stakeholders, Product Owner and Project Team to elicit requirements, design and deliver user stories, process workflow, prototype and mock up screens (when required)
Plan, design and implement technical solutions that are scalable and resilient and futureproofed
Strong technical capabilities including prior experience in developing mission critical applications
Evaluate, design and source for robust, resilient and cost effective technology solution that meets business and organization requirements and strategy
Lead and manage issues during all stages of product development and lifecycles
Lead system enhancements and manage project implementations
Provide technical leadership to teammates through coaching and mentorship
Modernize the technology stack by adopting open source frameworks and cloud framework
Working on identifying the project risks and planning mitigation actions with stakeholders and project teams
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
Strong leadership skills, ability to influence decisions and actions at all levels of the Bank.
A very strong understanding of the dimensions and complexities of delivering full stack, cutting edge technology solution
Ability to analyse complex IT issues and translate these into clear and concise communications
Ability to work independently under tight deadlines and with a high degree of autonomy and initiative.
Working in a fast paced, dynamic & multi-cultural team environment
This is not a 9-5 role as we are working on regulatory project with fixed external deadlines

Experienced in operating in an AGILE/SAFE methodology and can lead development teams. Include estimating models, establishing & monitoring KPI's, conducting AGILE ceremonies/ sprint & release planning sessions
Experienced working in a technology environment and experienced in DevOps, UX Design, Microservices and Big Data
