CRO Regulatory Reporting Quality Assurance (RRQA) is the designated function responsible for conducting independent quality assurance review (QAR) of regulatory reports produced in accordance with relevant regulatory requirements and bank policies.

Execute QAR activities which includes conducting walkthrough sessions with business partners, validating the production of regulatory reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory rules, and exciting internal controls.
Perform data analysis on large volume financial records to detect discrepancies, identify sample populations, and define prioritization and scoping for testing.
Complete Transaction Testing consisting of validating and tracing regulatory reports with a focus on confirmation of risk calculations and methodologies.
Work with multiple senior business partners across the bank (e.g. FO, CRO, CFO, etc.) to ensure completeness and accuracy of regulatory reports, raising issues where applicable and defining robust remediation plans that will be raised to senior management.
Craft automation and process efficiency improvements through the use of programming, coding, robotics, and advanced macros/VBA's to streamline the CRO RRQA function and strengthen controls.
Manage and Implement data science techniques with a focus on machine learning to advance the identification of risk, issues, and discrepancies within the regulatory reporting production process.

Equivalent experience of 2+ years in Internal/External Audit functions, Risk or Compliance functions, or regulatory reporting is an advantage!

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with advanced Excel knowledge (Macro, VBA, etc.)
Project Management certification a plus (e.g. Six Sigma, PMP, etc.)
