We're searching for a seasoned Director of Real Estate to grow the Visionworks footprint across the United States! We will be in growth mode for the foreseeable future and need a teammate who will be integral to this growth as well as to manage the current real estate portfolio.
What you'll do:
Travel to designated markets to view the real estate, understand the market dynamics and direction of each market in order to recommend new deals, relocations and renewals to Real Estate Committee.
Negotiate LOI and lease terms for all new deals.
Collaborate with Store Design & Construction and partner with Finance to deliver stores that meet internal hurdle rates.
Present all new deals, relocations, and renewals within defined territory to Leadership.
Partner with Legal to drive the deal home.
Maintain relationships within the industry including broker networks, landlords and other retailers.
Attend industry wide ICSC events.
Perform ad hoc projects as necessary.

A clear communicator with experience presenting to leadership.
Agile based on the needs of the changing business and the tumultuous retail real estate environment.
Able to manage a high volume of new store negotiations as well as advising on renewals.
Professional while representing the best in class optical provider at industry wide events.
Relationship-oriented both within the company and with external contacts in the industry.
Skillful with Excel and PowerPoint.
Excited and eager to travel up to 50% of the time.
