Man Group is seeking to recruit a Project Analyst to join the HR Projects & Transformation team in our London office. (Working from home until further notice). The HR Projects and Transformation team will be responsible for driving and delivery of key strategic change projects across HR globally.
The Project Analyst will be responsible for coordinating across internal and external stakeholders and has responsibility for the successful planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure of the HR Programmes.
The Project Analyst will play a significant role to drive consistency of strong project management with cadence, execution and governance through accountability and transparency. You will be expected to communicate progress, issues and solutions to senior management, technology clients and stakeholders to obtain their input as appropriate, through the project lifecycles.
Prepare and maintain project plans that cover all aspects of the delivery required
Work with peers and colleagues to manage programme dependencies between work streams and other programmes/projects and provide full and monitoring, oversight and reporting
Manage all project artefacts and team members to achieve delivery of agreed/published milestones
Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure lightweight but effective governance that can support different delivery mechanisms
Actively manage plans, dependencies, risks, resources to maintain full control and risk manage the plan
Maintain a RAID log, manage project risks locally and escalate in a timely fashion
Provide data and inputs to programme reporting to enable Man Group to oversee programme performance
Assist with tracking and managing change control standards and downstream impacts
Responsible for collation of agenda and inputs for programme governance forums
Creation, consolidation and collation of programme metrics and status reports
Ensure all key decisions are documented appropriately
Ideally Degree educated
Proficient knowledge of office applications, especially excel and use of formulae
Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
Excellent problem solving, analysis and interpretation skills
Excellent written and spoken English is essential
Strong interpersonal skills; able to establish and maintain a close working relationship with stakeholders
Confident communicator; able to argue a point concisely and deal positively with conflicting views
