An exciting senior position in the newly established CRO Parent team within the Group Chief Risk & Compliance Officer function. The CRO Parent function oversees the risk framework, risk reporting system, and branches of the Parent Company

Dedicated risk partner for CRO Parent in providing independent risk oversight and supporting the company with effective and efficient risk management.
Take ownership to ensure the Groups overall oversight and pro-active management of divisional risks - across all risk types (Credit, Market, Compliance, Financial Crime, Non-Financial risk etc.) and different functions of the bank
Clarifies risk governance, supports in setting minimum risk standards, and harmonizes Parent risk oversight where possible.
Also responsible for legal entity risk oversight of the Parent Company. This includes funding liquidity, capital, and operational risks including governance, process, outsourcing, regulatory, systems and cyber risk.
Ensure effective and efficient execution of risk controls in Parent
Establish risk reporting system that ensures, in particular, that relevant information on the risk portfolio for Parent is provided to the Executive Board on a regular basis

Completed Master's degree combined with at 12+ years of financial industry experience - with experience of country risk, sovereign rating and analysis, and/or a background in macroeconomics a distinct advantage
An excellent understanding of broad risk measurement frameworks, including Market Risk (e.g. VaR) or Credit Risk management as it applies to Private/Retail Banking or to Investment Banking
Ability to operate autonomously, to drive multiple projects/tasks forward in parallel and to produce an end state product that can be presented to senior management with minimal required revision
Exhibit excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills
Proficiency in English (both verbal and written); any other market language skills would be an advantage in order to collaborate with different stakeholders
Experience in communication on the highest senior management levels, including the crafting of presentations, analysis, and executive briefings a key requirement
Preparing of various regulatory submission materials to FINMA and other supervisory colleges
Ability to explain complex concepts in an accessible way and with focus on aspects most relevant to the specific audience
Proven ability to engage a larger group of people across departments and locations and lead to results and positive outcomes
Flexibility, a hands-on, pragmatic and business-oriented attitude with an forward-thinking character and the ability to cope with tight deadlines and a strong focus on quality
