The Execution Consulting team sits on the sales desk and acts as a conduit between sales, clients, the algo development team and senior management. The team engages in four disciplines: Index Research, TCA (Transaction Cost Analysis), Market Microstructure (trading research) and Algo Performance monitoring. The team produces content for mass consumption as well as internal only users and highly customized bespoke analysis for clients.
Research expected index changes, upcoming corporate actions, and major index rebalances
Develop strong knowledge of index methodology
Contribute to market microstructure research
Contribute to TCA (Transaction Cost Analysis) product development
Contribute to Algo Performance Monitoring products
Key Experience & Skills
Degree in a scientific discipline e.g. Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Machine Learning or Computer Science.
Well rounded data scientist who can bring R programming/dba/analytical skills to the role.
Must have R programming experience, preferably based on the "tidyverse" approach and philosophy.
Familiarity with Excel+VBA programming.
Knowledge of OneTick database programming a plus, but not a requisite.
Strong interest in index research and electronic trading.
Experience with large-scale data analysis.
Strong team player with a commitment to producing high quality work with a limited amount of time
Strong communication and presentation skills with excellent command of the English language.
Willingness to simultaneously engage in very short term as well as very long term data science projects.
