RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS HOW YOU WILL FULFIL YOUR POTENTIAL
- Researching and evaluating potential real estate investment opportunities, both qualitatively and quantitatively - Day-to-day point person on various acquisition and asset management transactions, with specific focus on financial modelling, auditing, due diligence and reporting - Contributing to the preparation of discussion materials for MBD Real Estate Investment Committee - Involvement in the documentation, structuring and financing aspects of transactions (including debt restructurings) SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Strong academic record with Bachelor's degree, equivalent or above required - Prior experience gained from working within investment banking industry required - Significant expertise and experience with real estate investing sector required - Experience of underwriting debt and equity real estate transactions (including residential, senior / student housing hospitality etc.) - Experience of deal execution with various risk-return strategies (core equity, high yield, stabilised credit) and execution of transactions (origination, acquisition) required - Experience of leading due-diligence, financial analysis, drafting pitchbooks, performing evaluations, refining business plans, project financing, pricing, risk management, reporting required - Demonstrable involvement with continuous improvement/automation initiatives - Experience of negotiating loan documents, lease structure and other related negotiations - Must be financially competent, with excellent attention to detail, a clear ability to multi-task and an ability to work towards goals/deadlines - Solid work ethic, motivation level and strong leadership skills - Must be a collaborative team player
