We currently have a position available within trade support, positioned locally in Hong Kong. The primary function of this role is to provide operational support to trading desks, maintain correct information in different internal systems and to deliver trade confirmation in a timely manner.
Investigation and resolution of trade confirmation with clients, prime brokers, company trading desks, support teams or vendors
Trade booking and reconciliation
Contact point for trade capture issues with internal teams and clients
Maintain service delivery quality including accuracy and timeliness
Account data management and commission rate application
Adhoc reporting and trade related requests
Key Experience & Skills
Bachelor Degree in Finance/ Economics/ Maths/ Accounting or Business related subject
Ability to demonstrate a sound of understanding of Cash Equities
Strong Team-working skills – for working with both internal departments in Hong Kong and globally
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Fluency in English and Mandarin is a must
Strong analytical skills and ability to thrive under pressure
Strong leadership skills essential – this role will require a self-starter who can manage competing deadlines and can priorities appropriately
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, with advanced working knowledge of Excel (knowledge of computer language Python or VBA is an advantage)
