Our client is a leading asset manager headquartered in Geneva. Over the last few years, the private equity team has been very active in terms of investment focus and AUM. They are looking for a Senior Private Markets Sales Specialist to support the growth of the asset class by using their product knowledge to accelerate sales. They have an ambitious and entrepreneurial working culture with a flat structure. RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead business development efforts and ongoing relationship management of institutional investors
Develop and implement a robust distribution strategy targeting European institutional investors through direct approach and through the firm's distribution network
Regular interaction with prospects and existing clients and be the private markets asset class specialist. Market the products appropriately and respond to detailed queries
Lead any necessary training and product communication to ensure the broader distribution network is well versed on the asset class
Build long lasting relationships with internal stakeholders across the organisation
Extensive track record in private markets (preferably Private Equity) distribution in Europe
Established technical understanding of private equity products and ability to speak knowledgeably about the industry
Demonstrable ability to build relationships with a broad range of stakeholders internally and externally
Strategic mindset able to persuade and influence
Fluent in either French or German would be a plus
Proactive and energetic personality style - willing to work within a results driven environment
