The Director, Aladdin Client Engagement, Pension East Team Client Manager will partner with Aladdin institutional clients to deliver change programs and to ensure full adoption of Aladdin's cutting-edge functionality and analytical models. This includes providing additive contributions to the collective intelligence that allows Aladdin to continue to be the industry-leading investment management platform.
This executive will also be accountable for growing and mentoring a team comprised of analytics specialists. The role reports to the Head of Pensions East, Aladdin Client Engagement.
About the Aladdin Client Engagement Group
The Aladdin Client Engagement (ACE) group leads the partnerships formed with each BlackRock Solutions client and is the trusted advisor, problem solver, and business partner to Aladdin clients. Client Managers are the key point of contact for clients and are charged with driving, deepening, and growing the relationship over time through product and analytics knowledge.
A successful Client Manager is highly passionate about understanding the needs and evolving priorities of client organizations. They provide analytical and investment process solutions that demonstrate the capabilities of the entire BlackRock Solutions organization.
Leading and Developing a Team
Serves as the primary point of contact for all client relationships within an owned book of business.
Develops and mentors the team that is accountable for day-to-day analytical client coverage.
Drives strategic client projects to allow clients to extract the full value proposition of the Aladdin tool suite.
Leads all aspects of training and development of assigned resources.
Building, Fostering, and Growing Client Relationships
Defines and executes a strategy for each client using Aladdin's analytics and product offerings.
Leads client relationships by serving as a trusted partner to solve problems and provide solutions.
Operates as a specialist on how a client will shift their portfolio strategy as a result of changing market trends. Understands client's business.
Ensures strong and deep relationships based on the service model and integration of Aladdin for clients.
Acts as an extension of the client to provide perspective on using Aladdin as a competitive advantage for their business.
Forms strong internal connectivity with partners to deliver the firm to clients.
Identifies harvesting opportunities to deepen existing relationships and builds a plan to execute.
Protects revenue through contract renewals.
Delivering Aladdin Product & Analytics Expertise
Continually improves and scales analytics processes to provide solutions for clients in partnership with the broader BlackRock platform.
Develops a broad knowledge of Aladdin's product offerings and analytical models across asset classes.
Develops deep understanding of clients' usage of Aladdin via regular engagement and use of metrics.
Communicates the product roadmap and delivers value to clients through new Aladdin capabilities.
Advocates on client's behalf and partners with internal partners to improve the Aladdin platform.
Contributing to the Broader Aladdin Business
Provides client context across business processes to internal partners.
Deepens relationships with the broader BlackRock teams to identify further areas of growth opportunities or internal partnerships.
Partners with business development and other internal partners to achieve commercial goals.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance, Financial Engineering, Economics or a related quantitative field of study.
10+ performing quantitative and investment risk analyses across multiple asset classes.
