Our client is a dynamic independent investment management company specializing in the corporate bond market. They currently manage a multi-billion range of bond funds within their Investment Management unit as well as private client discretionary accounts within their Wealth Management unit.
Your mission and contribution
As a Fixed Income Product Specialist you will be the key point of contact for clients and coordinator of a global network of Sales.
First level of support for questions or requests coming from clients or sales with regard to the products and the investment process
Work directly with sales and clients to provide additional information, updates, and resolution to escalated issues
Maintain a constant dialog with the sales to ensure they have quality investment materials to market the funds (investment update call, press & article, etc.)
Coordinate and organize the participation of the investment team members (fund manager, credit analyst and product specialist) to roadshows and clients visits with the sales
Maintain and enhance the platforms and tools used by the sales to market the funds
Look for opportunities to improve sales experience and drive sales satisfaction
Provide a constant support to the fund managers as part of the funds'management activity (portfolio analysis, market data, peer group analysis, etc.)
Participate to the production and quality controls of the funds statistics
Actively participate to the product and business development of the company (new funds, new market development, recruitment, etc.)
Participate to the organization of the weekly Investment Committee
Work closely and actively with the Risk & Compliance function to ensure the full compliance of the investment process and the marketing support activities
Finally as you will be part of a small and fast-growing structure you will be working in team on cross-functional projects.
Manager of the investment support assistant
The ideal candidate has a minimum of 5 years of experience in financial industry working with financial data, standard investment platforms and tools
Advanced knowledge in the Fixed Income asset class and high level of understanding of asset management workflow
Excellent client service experience and focus
Bilingual EN/ FR. German is an asset
Team oriented with strong organizational and communication skills
Pro-active and comfortable in developing new relationships, at ease on the phone
Effective communication skills are required to talk to clients intelligently and use critical reasoning skills to identify problems and solutions quickly
Apt to operate with a high degree of independence
rigorous, and accurate with high attention to details, able to multitask, can work within a demanding and fast-moving environment
Strong analytical capabilities, with excellent written and oral skills to summarize and report
CAIA or CFA is an asset
