Your new company
Due to succession needs, a vacancy has arisen in region for a Head of Special Assets / Collections to perform restructuring advisory, remedial management and credit control of both retail and commercial banking clients to ensure that that the quality of the credit portfolio is maintained within acceptable risk parameters, as defined by group credit policies standards.
Your new role
As a Head of Special Assets / Collections, you will lead a team to identify, modify and implement designed and approved workout recovery strategies for problem loan accounts. You will work and interact with customers, legal, and other third party professionals to acquire all required documentation, due diligence and market intelligence. You will review accounts routinely and present to senior management or external stakeholders from time to time.
What you'll need to succeed
20+ years experience in Special Assets, Collections, Remedial Management, distressed loans or Credit Risk Control within Corporate or Commercial Banking
Due to target local client segment. you will be required to speak Cantonese, Mandarin and English on a day-to-day basis.
Prior leadership / team management experience
