Purpose of the Role
As the world around us changes at an ever-increasing pace, the ability of DBS to test and learn at scale is an essential ingredient to our continued success. We need to develop skills in rapid experimentation, agile software development, adaptive business management and most importantly agile leadership. The agile lead will head the community that drives this continual improvement.
Inspire the company with the need for agile in all aspects of the way we work Work with senior executive to deepen their understanding of agile Build a small central team of agile experts and a large passionate community of practitioners across the company that will evangelise and coach the rest of the company Evolve our currents tools and training approaches Develop a data driven program of improvement across the 3 levels of agile: team agile, platform level (agile at scale) and bank wide (business agile) Work with the Platform Transformation team and the Agile Champions across the organization to embed the processes and rituals that support agile at scale. In the short term work with the Genesis team (this is the program that will build the infrastructure to support agile at scale) to design the future state, be part of the design authority to turn the future state into design concepts and drive the paradigm shifts within the programme.
Deep experience in agile (10+ years), lean and Human Centred Design Experience with product management approaches, beyond budgeting and other advanced concepts Pragmatic (as opposed to dogmatic) approach to agile Strong presence and communication especially in front of seniors Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment Experience in working on large complex programs Ability to craft a company-wide transformation programme.
