You will oversee credit risk, market risk and operational risk management teams

Ensure that the division is in compliance with applicable regulatory and supervisory requirements as well as various internal risk management policies and guidelines
Lead the establishment, implementation, review and improvement of the risk governance/ management framework for the Firm
You will assist in overseeing the overall credit risk management of the Bank, covering corporate / private banking customers, and institutional counterparties
You will assist in leading the formulation of the Firm's Risk Appetite Statement
You will formulate credit, market risk, operational, product and reputation risk management strategies and policies
You will oversee the development of risk assessment tools, methodologies, processes and procedures as appropriate to the different business lines/ product units
Act as one of the key contacts with the regulatory authorities in relation to various risk management matters
Assist in the negotiation with SFC on various risk limits, credit-related regulatory measures and ensure due compliance with various prudential risk limits
Supervise subordinates and provide them with appropriate coaching/ guidance to ensure the Division's deliverables are in compliance with legal and regulatory and ethical standards, of the required quality, and in adherence to the Firm's corporate values, risk management policies and service standards
skills & experiences required
University degree or equivalent
Over 15 years of relevant experience in risk management covering across market risk, credit and operational risk discipline
In-depth knowledge of risk management, operational control, and related SFC regulations & supervisory guidelines
Strategic mind-set with good business acumen
Pragmatic with strong passion for results
Strong leadership and people management skills
Strong communication skills in fluent English, Cantonese and Mandarin languages
