SVP, Alternative Lending, is responsible for enabling and delivering the next generation of lending solutions. Responsibilities include defining requirements for alternative lending solutions and product innovation that brings value to our partners and SME clients.
We are looking for a strong leader with a combination of product strategy, product development/solutioning and SME lending background to help us quickly expand the new offerings to deliver differentiated user experiences. He/She will work closely with the regional business and risk teams to define roadmap of lending products and features.
He/She will work with internal stakeholders and ecosystem partners to define and solution alternative lending services, execute the launch, and/or drive new product commercialization to target levels of adoption and utilization.
Identify market changes, emerging trends and customer needs to drive new business models and loan product innovation
Drive design and delivery of new business models, created through internal and ecosystem partnerships
Drive conceptualization of new ideas, leverage on alternative lending datapoints to create hyperpersonalised client engagement
Support team with conceptualisation of new ideas and explore new data points for Alternative Lending
Comfortable to work with data and develop insights, present business value through data-driven use cases
Facilitate and execute lending experimentation with agility
Ability to challenge status quo while managing risk and regulatory compliance
Define product requirements, work with internal stakeholders to determine feasibility, minimum viable product, development cost, and rollout schedules.
Manage executive communication (verbal and visual) with an ability to explain complex business and lending concepts to broad audiences
Communicate and generate support for recommendations among business leaders across the organization
Engage broadly across countries and departments such as Business, Finance, Innovation, Product and Risk to understand drivers of performance and collaborate on business optimization and to deliver strong financials
Leader with strong communication skills; preferably with at least 10-15 years of working experience in financial services or FINTECH
Team oriented and collaborative
Possesses university or post graduate degree in analytical discipline or similar academic/ professional experience
Strong understanding of credit principles
Interest in the digital economy
Proven track record of success in fast-paced environments with demanding timelines
Superior problem solving skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor
